The vara of the Madonna of Consolation: the open restoration

At the start the “Open Restoration” of the Vara of the Madonna of Consolation. The event, supervised by the Regional Secretariat of the Mibact for Calabria, the Regional Council of Calabria, the Archdiocese of Reggio-Bova and the Association of the Vara bearers, allows the visitor to interact with the specialized operators and, through explanatory panels, to know the genesis and the events related to the processional machine used to transport the miraculous painting of Mary SS. Mother of Consolation and Advocate of the People of Reggio Calabria.
