On May 9, 2022, the book by Antonio Chilà La Diocesi di Bova dalle origini al 1986 was presented in the Giuffré Room of the Municipal Library “P. De Nava” in Reggio Calabria. The book deals with the historical issues of the life of a diocese, the evolution of the cult from the suppression of the Greek rite with Bishop Giulio Stavriano in 1573 until the unification of the Diocese of Bova with the Archdiocese of Reggio Calabria in 1986, the profiles of the bishops who led it, essays on the Episcopal Seminary and lay associationism are sketched out, all consolidated by bibliographic sources and valuable and unpublished archival sources.
