On Nov. 8, 2021 in the Giuffré Room of the Municipal Library “P. De Nava” in Reggio Calabria, Rosario Alberto De Stefano’s book “The Periodical Press of Reggio Calabria and its Province” was presented. The text makes explicit the historical, political, economic and cultural documentation function of the periodical press, emphasizing its value as a primary source for the reconstruction of political and cultural life and the history of journalism and the press in Reggio and the Province from 1817 to 1908.
